Alright, we know people don’t like change. When something you’ve become so used to is changed, it means you have to learn something new. And who has time for that, right?
While we sympathize with the change-haters out there, we think it is safe to say that change is necessary and more often than not, it is for the best. So is the case with Rosy Salon Software (a.k.a. SalonRunner). Current clients may have noticed a change take place this week. We launched version 4.4 of SalonRunner which was a complete overhaul of the UI (user-interface). If you’re worried about having to take the time to update your software or learn a new system, don’t. This update automatically takes place without you needing to lift a finger and we promise if anything, the new interface will end up saving you time.
This update gave us the opportunity to create a much cleaner looking system for you, as well as allowing us to address some previously challenging navigational issues. Managing your salon via the SalonRunner system should be much easier now. The navigation, or how you get from page-to-page, was redesigned to make it easier to find what you are looking for. Everything you need should be right where you’d expect it! The new color scheme is an added bonus. It’s cleaner and a little bit easier on the eyes.
Our goal with Rosy is to continually innovate so that managing your salon is easier. Our job does not end just because you use our salon and spa management software. In fact, that is just the beginning. We will always be continually creating updates and improvements. So, let us know your thoughts about the new interface!

My salon has been a Rosy user since 2009! I can’t imagine not having Rosy, it keep my business neat and tidy! I have enjoyed every update along the way, because it just keeps getting better and better! My Apple clients love the ease of adding their appointments directly to their calendar from their mobile email as soon as they are pre-booked in the salon. Can’t wait for our Droid clients to be able to Add To Calendar, too. One less thing to do, saves everyone time, and time is money!

I like the new interface. Is it possible to attach pictures to client files? Ex. before/after shots, bridal run-thrus, etc.
