As Valentines Day approaches, people begin to panic on what to get their significant others. What they don’t realize is that your salon offers the perfect pampering gift on this special day; but how can we promote this?
“Love Yourself”
Why do couples get all of the attention on Valentines Day? Whether you celebrate Valentine’s Day singly or as a couple, love yourself! Create special “Love Yourself” promotions around your best pampering services and retail products.
“Couples’ Paradise”
Create a fun, relaxing and romantic bundle idea for couples who come in together. For example, this can include a 45 minutes full body massage, a mani and pedi for the couple, a hairstyle and cut for man, a wash and style for the lady.
“Pampering Give-Away”
Hold a contest in February and have a drawing to award one gift basket full of pampering supplies plus gift card to a winner. Utilize entries to help build your email marketing contact database, and extend a special offer in March to all participants.
Examples of contests you could hold would be a simple fishbowl-entry in the salon or spa, and/or solicit entries on your website and on your Facebook page.
“IOU”
Couples write IOU vouchers to each other for Valentines Day all the time – why not make a company voucher? What’s more romantic then treating their loved one to pampering, beauty treatments and deep relaxation?
